The way in which you speak about musicians comes from a place of ignorance. What you’re failing to see, are the early-morning radio shows, the interviews, the meet and greet and VIP, the artist is busy. The artist is using their musical instrument to communicate with people unlike guitar players like you. You can pick another guitar off the wall behind you if something happens, broken string, broken, electronics, etc. Real musicians have a few instruments, not a collection. You’re in an attorney or you work in a cubicle 9 to 5 while having a UA-cam channel on the side. You are not a professional musician, and you never will be one. Your opinion on the topic is incredibly invalid. One bad night on tour equals another week of bad nights. Word goes around that he’s losing his voice and people stop buying tickets. It’s easier to refund than it is to recoup, but I don’t count on a non-industry professional to understand any of this. Spoiled? You’re spoiled. Look at that wall of abundantly useless guitars that hardly look good. (Spits)

Thanks WM for a absorbable transcript about VoB. I am vob-fans and watched all their videos since middle school and also all interviews. Most musicians start learning music instrument(s) in very young ages, but they have started learning music instrument(s) by age of 14 and could cover over 20 songs in about 3 years and compose some originals, Amazing skills. They will perform in Glastonburry Uk in June 2024.(3rd Europe tour)

FYI, the oppression, traditional culture, stigma etc. are actually NOT Indonesia stereotype at all. It's only happened in some remote area such as their rural village which is far far away from the city right under the mountain in Garut-Indonesia. They need 2 hrs by motorcycle to reach the nearest town. In the cities it's quiet normal in Indonesia for such muslim girls playing rock music.
